Does your water flush acid waste from your cells, tissues, and organs? Does your water repair oxidative damage in your cells? It's no secret contaminants and pollutants compromise our water supply. So what are you drinking? If you are like most people, you have 3 choices:
Tap water
Bottled water
Purified by reverse osmosis or other filtration

There's one type of water that you likely never heard of. That's alkaline ionized water or electrolyzed reduced water. It's a bit of a mouthful and rather complicate to say and write. But, it's the one type of water that has been subject of medical studies.
Ionized water is water that underwent electrolysis to separate hydrogen and hydroxyl ions. A hydrogen ion has a positive charge while a hydroxyl ion has a negative charge. Thus, a hydrogen ion is acidic and a hydroxyl ion is alkaline. Furthermore, hydroxyl ions contain life-support energy making it an effective antioxidant. Which is a substance that prevent harmful reactions from occurring in the body. Thus, ionized water does the following:
Its alkalinity flushes acid waste from your cells, tissues, and organs
Its anti-oxidation repair damage to your cells and protects against free radicals
Ionized water replicates water found in several mountainous regions. These bodies of water are glacier-fed and thus are superior in:
Alkalinity due to its natural pH value
High mineral content due to a high concentration of hydroxyl ions
Proper hydrating capability due to its absorbability
The most notable study of this type of water is in the Hunza. A tiny region in the Himalayas of northern Pakistan. The Hunza people have had excellent health and longevity for almost a century. The Hunza live past the age of 100 free of bone loss, tooth decay, and degenerative disease. When asked "what is your secret?", the Hunza people reply: "It's the water."
This led Dr. Henry Coanda to identify this glacier-fed water's health-giving features. During his research, he observed the following:
The water's surface tension was low making it "wetter"
The low surface tension made it more absorbable
The water had a clustered crystalline structure like that of a human body fluids
The latter meant that water was already compatible with the body's biological processes. As a result, Dr. Coanda characterized the water as "living water". From these findings, other doctors joined Dr. Coanda's efforts. Doctors discovered other populations enjoying good health and long lives in the:
Andes Mountains
Caucasus region of southwest Asia
Shin-Chan region of China
The doctors also pointed out the distinguishing characteristics of this water:
Alkalinity
High mineral content
A high concentration of active hydrogen
Anti-oxidizing potential
These findings birthed the quest to replicating this water and share it with the rest of the world. The first step and thus, achievement went to Michael Faraday. This British chemist invented the first electrolyzing apparatus in the 19th century. The device did not receive much acclaim during his lifetime, though. But succeeded in separating water into its hydrogen and oxygen components. Then in the early 20th century, Russian scientists experimented with electrolysis. Japan adopted the methods that emerged from the Russians' tests. In 1958, Japan manufactured large commercial ionizers followed by smaller residential units. In the mid-1960s, Japanese hospitals used water ionizers as legitimate medical devices. Since then the Japanese people have used water ionizers to improve their health. Now, it's a global phenomenon!
That's why I switch tap and bottled water to a water ionizer.
